The capital is Chengdu, and I arrived here after 18 hours on the train, 2:30 in the afternoon. I don&#8217;t really think too much about the long train rides anymore.<\/p>\n<p>I was able to meet some friends and try the authentic Sichuan hot pot. It is known for being spicy, but it didn&#8217;t seem too bad compared to what I&#8217;ve had in Thailand and elsewhere.
