It was practically a sleepless night for me last night. I picked this room because it appeared to be sealed off from the outside, but as the night went on I noticed there was a hole rotted through the bottom of the bathroom door which allowed an endless stream of mosquitoes inside. In addition, the ceiling fan was broken, so it was a very hot night. I have to say it was the worst place I\u2019ve stayed in India.<\/p>\n
In the morning I decided to take a bus out of town. Thanjavur was my next stop. Here I found a much better hotel room on my first try. I\u2019m getting used to eating these rice meals with only my hand now. And it is hard to believe how good of value it is at $0.50. I didn\u2019t do much else today since I was so tired.
