This morning I hired a Tuk-Tuk to take me to the so called Roluos group of ruins. First was Preah Ko, then Bakong, and then Lolei. I was considering also going to some far away temples, but the driver was upping the price to about $30 to do all of that. I decided I’d go if I could find someone else to ride along and split the cost, but that doesn’t look like it is going to happen at this point.
I was kind of annoyed when my driver wouldn’t help me get to a temple that was off the beaten tourist track. I pointed to it on a map, but he said there is nothing there anymore, just a couple stones. So I think tomorrow I’ll go back to the bicycle since I like the freedom of exploring wherever I want to go with that.
