Day 230 – Siem Reap & Angkor, Cambodia

Today is the last day of my Angkor pass. I took the same single speed bicycle from yesterday. Used an ATM and then stopped at a hotel for a breakfast buffet (No, I didn’t sneak in; I paid). I rode my bike and returned to Angkor Wat to look around some more. Then I climbed up Baksei Chamkrong. And then I returned to Prah Khan and Bayon. My last stop was Phnom Bakheng which was different from the other ones being that it was on top of a big hill. I got a pretty good view of the area.

Headed back to the guesthouse and started preparing to take the bus back to Phnom Penh in the early morning.

I also started reading about Vietnam today and now I’m scared to go there. From my understanding, the people in Vietnam are are a lot more aggressive in trying to take advantage or scam foreigners (especially westerners), there is a lot of crime including children pickpockets, and driving on the highways is is very dangerous and if you get hurt you have to get yourself to a hospital. Not sure I’ll enjoy the place from the sound of it, but I already bought my Visa.
